Soft Horizons | Milan Design week 2025
Tesseract Engineers supported the design & Construction of Soft Horizons, a captivating installation debuting at Milan Design Week (April 7-13, 2025) and Fuorisalone 2025 within the newly unveiled Glasshouses of Alcova. This immersive experience reimagines Greek marble, bringing together light, transparency, and material history in an evocative dialogue of transformation. Set within the ethereal environment of a greenhouse, Soft Horizons invites visitors to engage with fragments of Greek marble that have been reshaped and reassembled, suspended with an unexpected lightness. As these marble pieces gently shift in response to human presence, a radiant disc overhead mirrors distant landscapes, subtly connecting the work to the marble’s geological origins.
