Amfilochia Hydro Pumped Storage project

The Amphilochia project is a major pumped-storage energy facility in western Greece, designed to enhance grid stability and support renewable energy integration. With around 680 MW generation capacity, it will improve energy security, create jobs, and strengthen local infrastructure when completed, becoming Greece's largest energy storage investment. Tesseract Engineers provided structural engineering services to Terna for the Pyrgos and Agios Georgios penstocks, focusing on the installation and concrete lining of the pipelines.
